We provide modular fire and readiness systems designed for decentralised first-line response in high-risk environments. When minutes matter, the first response decides the outcome.

Problem:

Lack of Readiness

Climate change, prolonged drought and geopolitical instability are reshaping risk across regions and industries. Fires and related incidents can shift from manageable to uncontrollable within minutes.

The decisive factor is the first phase of response, the short operational window where incidents can still be contained. This is where readiness is often weakest and response times the longest.

Enabling rapid, local action before situations escalate requires:

Speed, simplicity and readiness

Product:

Skjoldr Modular Rig

The Skjoldr Modular Rig is a scalable response and preparedness rig designed for reliable performance in demanding conditions. With its modular tank capacity, integrated pump and water cannon, robust construction, and design for simple operation, it is built for mobility and optimized for early, first-line response.

Our systems are scalable and designed for effective operation with minimal training. The rig can be pre-deployed or mounted on multiple carrier platforms such as a hook-lift truck, forwarder or trailer, enabling rapid relocation across rugged, remote, and industrial environments.

Key Features:

Modular tank system: 8–12 tanks, each with 1,000 litre capacity

01

Operational reach: Up to 60 metre spray distance

02

Area coverage: Approximately 0.15–0.8 hectares per deployment

03

Pump performance: Operates at 4–8 BAR

04

Modular platform: Supports auxiliary power units, drone batteries and mission-specific equipment

05

Platform footprint: 6.5 m long, 2.5 m wide

Perspectives from the field:

We invested in one of Skjoldr’s first response rigs as part of our own preparedness strategy. With large forest areas, some located far from centralized firefighting services, we need the ability to act immediately. The rig allows us to reach the fire front quickly with substantial water capacity, contain the fire early, and support professional crews by suppressing the front line and wetting down firebreaks. It is now part of the regional fire response readiness capability.

With increasingly frequent droughts and extreme heat, wildfire risk must be taken seriously. Strengthening first-line preparedness significantly improves our ability to protect lives, livelihoods and property. Early response is often the decisive factor.

Everything we do at Skjoldr is about strengthening local preparedness. The mobile fire suppression rig is our first step – but only the beginning. In the years ahead, we will build a broader ecosystem of solutions designed to improve readiness when crises occur.

Skjoldr was created to address a critical weakness in wildfire and fire-related response: the lack of tools for rapid, local action in the decisive first phase. Our ambition is to make first-line readiness a standard part of modern safety and preparedness infrastructure. We’ve assembled a team of experts from diverse backgrounds to ensure that our rigs are put in the hands of the people and communities who need them most.

Effective in action, local at heart, and resourceful by nature — at Skjoldr we take pride in strengthening resilience and protecting communities across the globe.
